Emory Women in Radiology (EWiR) aims to address the gender disparities in the academic environment and to promote career development for women in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences of the Emory University School of Medicine. We welcome physician faculty and trainees in the department regardless of gender. Trainees includes radiology residents and fellows and even medical students interested in radiology. Physician trainees and physician faculty from other departments also are welcome.
The way members of our group behave and interact with one another is centered on equity and integrity. We are courageous, respectfully offering and inviting ideas. We communicate openly and with respect. We aspire to become a subcommittee within the Emory Alliance for Women in Medicine and Science (EAWiMS).
