Winship radiation oncology experts, including Emory Department of Radiation Oncology chair Jeffrey Bradley, MD, FACR, FASTRO, will present at multiple sessions during the virtual semi-annual NRG Oncology meeting held Feb 7 – 15. Bradley, who chairs the NRG Oncology Lung Cancer Committee, will lead the annual Lung Cancer Workshop.
Kristin Higgins, MD, will present during a social media workshop focused on “Paradigm Shifts in Oncology: Social Media and Advocacy” on Monday, Feb 7 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM ET.
Principal Investigator for the NRG Oncology National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Deborah Watkins Bruner, RN, PhD, FAAN, will present during the general session and give updates during the NRG NCORP Town Hall on Feb 11. Mylin A. Torres, MD, recently named the co-lead of the Research Implementation Special Interest Group (SIG) NRG Oncology Health Disparities Committee (HDC), will moderate a discussion during the committee meeting on Monday, Feb 14.
Genitourinary Liaison for the Imaging Committee, Ashesh B. Jani, MD, MSEE, FASTRO, will provide updates on the ongoing and upcoming NRG Genitourinary protocols during the meeting on Feb 7.
James Bates, MD, will present an update on the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) HN.10 study to the Head and Neck General Committee Meeting.
