The Winship Department of Radiation Oncology welcomes three new physician residents and three new medical physics residents to the department in 2022.

Winship Cancer Institute and Emory School of Medicine's Department of Radiation Oncology welcomes three physician residents to the department's physician residency program and three medical physics residents to the department's medical physics residency program.
New medical physics residents Elham Abouei, PhD, from the University of British Columbia, Moeen Meftahi, PhD, from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Wang Qianxia, PhD, from Auburn University will start with the department in July 2022.
New physician residents Nicholas A. Bader, MD, from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Mathew J. Case, MD, from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, and Soumya Unnikrishnan, MD, from the University of California San Diego will start with the department in July 2023 after a one-year internal medicine internship at various universities.
Jeffrey Bradley, MD, interim chair and professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology says, "We look forward to the opportunity to have these future radiation oncology leaders join the department."
The National Resident Matching Program paired the new residents with the Department of Radiation Oncology during National Match Day, held each year on the third Friday in March.
