Overview
The inaugural Radiotherapy Frontiers Educational Workshop will have expert review of the latest procedures, technology, and medical treatments for radiation oncology patients, including refreshers, Re-irradiation techniques, and advances in newer / benign indications such as the use of LDRT for Osteoarthritis.
National guidelines will be reviewed. Emphasis will be on multi-disciplinary care, novel new radiation techniques and modalities, as well as drugs that have been recently FDA-approved, and upcoming clinical trials. This symposium is for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgical oncologists and primary care physicians.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists. Trainees, at all levels, are highly encouraged to attend.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and apply updated guidelines from NCCN and ASTRO
- List when to use Cardiac Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and low dose radiotherapy (LDRT)
- How and when to apply radioactive cardiac stents and proton therapy
