Overview
Faculty members in the Division of Health Services Research, Outcomes and Policy conduct multidisciplinary quantitative and qualitative studies that include, but are not limited to, research relevant to cancer prevention, treatment access and utilization, and cancer control in the fields of implementation science, health communication and decision-making, health disparities, operations research, health technology, symptom science and health economics. Members also participate in broader Emory initiatives, including the Emory Health Services Research Center and the Emory Artificial Intelligence (AI) Humanity Initiative.
Collaboration opportunities include research work with members of Emory School of Medicine, Emory Rollins School of Public Health, Emory College of Arts & Sciences, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American Cancer Society, Georgia Institute of Technology, Morehouse School of Medicine and Georgia State University. Faculty members have ready access to resources within the Department, the Emory Core Facilities and the Georgia Center for Cancer Statistics including the Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Registry.
