Johnnie L. Jenkins currently works as a Team Lead for Grady’s Project Arrow program. He received a PhD in Public Policy in 2022. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999, a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor since 2011 and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. Other work experiences for Jenkins includes, being a Counselor at the Morehouse School of Medicine, conducting crisis evaluations for hospitals and CSBs and his own private practice, the Jenkins Center. Jenkins regularly lectures on Play Therapy and Legislative Advocacy for counselors, and trainings for the National Clinical Mental Health and the National Clinical Counselor Examinations. His educational background includes the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Mercer University in Macon, GA, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology with a Specialty in Counseling for the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and Masters of Philosophy and PhD in Public Policy from Walden University.
