Project ARROW stands for Achieving Recovery through Resilience, Optimism and Wellness. ARROW is a specialized program for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 who are having unusual or strange experiences for the first time.
About Us
Psychosis describes when a person experiences thoughts, sees or hears things that are not real. People with illnesses including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder with psychotic features and major depressive disorder with psychotic features can experience psychosis.
Experiencing psychosis for the first time can be distressing and affect your ability to do your daily routines. However, intervening early to treat and manage symptoms of psychosis leads to greater long-term success and ability to live a full life. Project ARROW is a comprehensive, specialized clinic for young adults between the ages of 18 to 30 experiencing psychosis for the first time or experiencing early psychosis (in the last two years).
Our ultimate goal at Project ARROW is to help you get back to school, get a job, develop relationships and live your best life.
Project ARROW is staffed by an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, transitions coach/case managers, supported employment and education specialists, peer specialists and nurses.
This program is funded by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Light-ETP initiative, offering services for up to two years.
