She/Her/Hers
Kathleen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Penn State's honors college, majoring in Art History and serving as an editor and reporter for the school’s paper, The Daily Collegian. Her undergraduate work led to an oral presentation at an art history symposium: “Debussy, the Kandinsky of Music.” Following graduation, she worked as a writer, editor, and social media manager for PSU’s Center for Global Business Studies and for a Washington, D.C.-based digital media company. Deciding to make a career change, Kathleen completed a post-bac pre-med program at UVa and then attended DUCOM. She has volunteered at multiple children’s hospitals, taught stress-reduction techniques to members of a transitional housing facility, and volunteered for a crisis text line.
