Following his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia, Jack completed a year of service in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, a domestic volunteer year that served as a domestic model for the Peace Corps. Jack’s work placement was with Project Lazarus in New Orleans, a program that provided transitional housing to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. During this year, Jack served as a resident activities coordinator and also designed and implemented a curriculum called The Wellness University. Jack attended medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine where was he selected by his peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his excellence in humanism and professionalism in medicine. In his free time, Jack enjoys watching Marvel movies, reading Stephen King novels, Atlanta Braves baseball, SEC football, and playing the saxophone.
