Some candidates enter our Core Curriculum as licensed or license-eligible mental health clinicians. We invite these candidate psychotherapists to apply to the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program, which enriches the Core Curriculum classroom learning with concurrent supervision of psychotherapy cases. We match qualified candidates with supervisors from the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute faculty. Candidates enjoy the professional growth that occurs when seminars are combined with clinical learning. Successful completion of the classroom and supervisory requirements leads to a certificate granted by Emory University for the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program.
