Program and Supervision Fees
The above-listed fees are for academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26. Program Fees are annually assessed by the EUPI Executive Committee. While EUPI supervisor fees are determined by EUPI faculty, individual supervisors may raise their fees by $5.00 each year.
The EUPI does not provide scholarships or subsidies for training analyses to avoid intruding on treatment relationships. Treatment fee-setting remains within the candidate-psychoanalyst dyad, wherein the dynamics around money matters will be understood analytically.
Payment Practices and Payment Plans
Program fees are paid in two installments, due by September 15 and January 8 each academic year. When these deadlines are not feasible, current candidates may arrange a payment plan with the EUPI Program Administrator. Monthly late fees of $100.00 will accrue beyond the 10-day grace period.
Program Fee Assistance
The Catherine Shropshire Hardman Philanthropy Fund makes need-based financial assistance available to qualified candidates. In our review process, candidate anonymity and privacy are of utmost importance. The review committee considers many variables when assessing awards: income, assets, household size, dependents, program costs, educational debts, medical expenses, etc. Once accepted to the program, a candidate can apply for program fee assistance.
The Atlanta Foundation for Psychoanalysis
The Atlanta Foundation for Psychoanalysis offers additional funding and assistance to Black, BIPOC, LatinX and ethnically minoritized candidates. For more information, contact Jane Yates, PhD, FABP.
American Psychoanalytic Association Candidate Assistance
Once accepted into the EUPI Adult Psychoanalysis Program, a candidate can apply for assistance through the American Psychoanalytic Association.
