There are a growing number of organizations and companies providing autism-related services across a variety of domains. Overall, however, there remains much more need than resources. This is especially true for older teens and adults once they grow out of the services provided by the school systems, although there are increasing numbers of support programs at colleges and universities.
Parent-to-Parent of Georgia has an extensive database of searchable resources If you are looking for anything from an autism-friendly dentist or a swim class, or anything in-between, we recommend using this database.
Emory Autism Center has also been compiling lists of books, apps, and websites that can be helpful for autistic people and/or others in their life (PDF). The inclusion of services or providers on this list should not be considered an endorsement by Emory Autism Center or any of our individual providers.
