Emory Autism Center actively fosters cutting-edge programs to support and improve intense, co-occurring mental health needs for autistic people across the lifespan. A significant majority of individuals diagnosed with autism experience mental health distress in childhood and/or adulthood including devastating anxiety, depression, sleep disruptions, or risk for suicide. In the context of overwhelming demand for services across the state, we are looking to expand our capacity to provide evidence-based psychiatric and psychological service and to provide top-notch teaching and training to build a cadre of expert providers statewide.
