The groundbreaking model of inclusion and respect that underlie Early Emory Center for Child Development has always been at the heart of Emory Autism Center. With more than 50,000 children diagnosed with autism in Georgia, we continue our mission to provide high impact, sustained early intervention and education that directly benefits children diagnosed with autism and their families, and creates the foundation for a helpful, caring community that all our students take with them throughout their schooling and beyond.
Your gift allows us to reach underserved children and families, cultivate and maintain skillful, experienced staff, and provide safe and modern classroom facilities and equipment, for example
- Building a new playground to best support our educational mission
- Creating a calming “sensory space” for children who just need a break
- Scholarship support for students in the 2- and 3-year-old classrooms
- National training programs for our staff
- Community outreach and training to share and develop the core ideas that make Early Emory special, across the state and region
