Our 1st ever Stand In Line Initiative aimed to provide as many line warming supplies as possible to voters in line during the 2020 Presidential election given the history of long lines that often disenfranchise and dissuade citizens from voting. ABHA organized and received over $2000 worth of line warming supplies and made a little over 1000 bags that included a pre-packaged non-perishable snack, water, hand sanitizer, fidget toy/stress ball and a bookmark with either emergency line numbers or relaxation apps. It is efforts like these that really exemplify just how much ABHA has embodied APA's concept of being a Citizen Psychologist. We are out in the communities that we serve doing really good work. This is where the good in our profession, and especially our group, shines!
