The Golde lab has had continuous funding from the NIH to study Alzheimer’s disease (AD) since 2000. Although AD remains the primary focus of research within the laboratory, the lab also works opportunistically on other neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, pain and hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis related metabolic dysfunction and aging. We are highly focused on translational studies that are designed to identify new therapeutic strategies or improve upon existing therapeutic paradigms. We are a highly collaborative group that is committed to local, national and international collaborations and data and tool sharing. We are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment and have long-standing track record of training individuals from diverse backgrounds.
