Dr. Rita Nahta
Dr. Rita Nahta received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. degree in Pathology from Duke University. She completed postdoctoral training in the lab of tumor biology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and a second postdoctoral fellowship in breast medical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She joined Emory University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Departments of Pharmacology and Hematology & Medical Oncology in 2007 and directs a breast cancer research laboratory at the Winship Cancer Institute.
