The FIRsT Course provides pediatric fellows with an overview and introduction to successfully conducting clinical, outcomes, translational and basic science research in our academic setting. Didactic sessions, panel discussions, and interactive opportunities will provide forums for fellows to gain an appreciation of the fundamentals of topics such as biostatistics, epidemiology, the research enterprise, and practical and applied aspects of conducting research. These concepts will be conveyed over a 20-hour period, comprised of 4-hour sessions for five days during the week of October 24-28, 2022. |
