Headache Program

Our headache program is proud to provide evidence-based, coordinated pediatric evaluation and treatment for patients. We aim to improve understanding of headache symptoms and treatment through community outreach and increase access at both Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Neurology clinics and Children's Emergency Departments. Our Team consists of, our Neurologist and Medical Director, Jasmine Forte, MD, Pediatric Psychologist Laura Wright, PhD, Nurse Practitioner, Beth Rosengrant, CPNP, and Program Manager, Mahwish Javed, MS, MPH.

Through our Multidisciplinary Headache Clinic, our team offers specialty care to patients who are complex, second opinions, and those unable to be managed by their pediatrician. Our multidisciplinary headache team cares for headaches of all kinds in kids of all ages, from toddlers to young adults. With treatments ranging from lifestyle and behavioral medicine to the most advanced therapies available, our team creates an individualized approach to each child's condition.
