The Georgia School-Based Health Alliance, Inc. (GASBHA) was formed in November 2012 to advocate for the expansion of school-based health centers in Georgia and to provide technical assistance to communities around the state poised to open a center in their area
MISSION STATEMENT:
GASBHA advances the health and success of Georgia’s children through community partnerships to develop and support SBHCs.
Vision:
Georgia’s children maximizing their potential through the interface of health and education
GASBHA is officially recognized as an affiliate with the movement’s national organization: School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA). SBHA is active on a national level with policy makers in Washington, DC to promote the school-based health center model and to advocate for funding.
