Zenobia hails from the sunny shores of The Bahamas. She completed medical school at the University of the West Indies in Barbados and went on to complete her Pediatric residency in Florida. Emory's diverse population and compelling opportunities in Global Health were key factors that drew her to the institution. In her leisure, Zenobia delights in collecting vinyl records, exploring new cuisines, reading, and savoring moments with family and friends.
Sundos Ahmed, MD
Fellowship Year: 1 (Class of 2027) Medical School: University of Khartoum Faculty of Medicine, Sudan Residency: Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Research interests: Type 1 diabetes, short stature and growth hormone disorders.
I was born in Sudan, North Africa but was raised in Saudi Arabia. I completed my medical education in Sudan and spent 2 years in Qatar doing pediatric residency. I moved to the US in early 2020 and lived in Atlanta GA for a year and a half. I have completed my pediatric residency training in the heart of the Midwest, Springfield IL.
I first became interested in pediatric endocrinology soon after graduating medical school during some voluntary work in a childhood diabetes center in Sudan. Joining Emory will help my growth and development as an endocrinologist. Out of work I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, reading, and watching series.
Christopher Hidalgo, MD

I grew up in Long Island, New York, and attended St. George's University in Grenada for medical school. I completed my pediatric residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, where I developed a passion for endocrinology, particularly in puberty and gender-affirming care. I'm excited to be moving to Atlanta for the first time and look forward to embracing everything the city has to offer. I enjoy visiting museums and arcades and am eager to explore Atlanta.

MK grew up outside of Atlanta, returned to Atlanta for residency and is thrilled to stay in Atlanta at Emory/CHOA for fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her many pets and her friends. She also enjoys knitting, gardening, and playing games. She looks forward to exploring and developing her research interests within Endocrinology during fellowship.
Kerrie- Ann Gabay, MD

Kerrie-Ann was born in Toronto, Canada but was raised in warm and sunny Kingston, Jamaica. She completed medical school and a Pediatric residency in Jamaica before coming to the New York to complete a second Pediatric residency training. She first became interested in Pediatric Endocrinology during her time in Jamaica, a developing country and she's now excited to train at Emory that will further her passion for Endocrinology and offer her opportunities to participate in Global Health and research. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling and is excited to explore Atlanta’s parks, trails and food scene as well the warm weather.

Erika grew up in Florida, completed her pediatric residency in Atlanta, and is excited to be staying in Atlanta for fellowship. She chose Emory because of the people, the diverse patient population, research opportunities, and because the city of Atlanta is a great place to live. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, climbing, hiking, and spending time with friends.
