Description
This 1-year fellowship offered jointly by the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology is directed by Dr. Douglas Parker and meets all requirements for the board examination in dermatopathology jointly administered by the American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology.
Pathology-trained fellows receive dermatopathology training and complete rotations in the dermatology clinics at The Emory Clinic and Grady Memorial Hospital. Dermatology-trained fellows receive dermatopathology training and complete rotations in surgical pathology and pathology sub-specialties at Emory Hospital. All fellows participate in numerous teaching and didactic conferences in both departments as well as participation in multi-disciplinary tumor conferences.

USMLE Step 3, Georgia Medical Licensure, Completed AP/CP or AP

Important Visa Information
Emory SOM is not supporting the $100,000 fee under the new federal orders for new H-1B visa petitions. I, as an applicant, have the responsibility to be visa eligible (e.g.: J1 visa eligible, will enter residency on F1/OPT, hold a valid H-1B visa not associated with the $100,000 fee, or have other form of valid work authorization) if I match at Emory and acknowledge that Emory SOM will not be covering this new H1B fee.
