We Recognize That Faculty Have Different Mentoring Needs
Mentoring efforts in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery center around the importance of mentoring to the individual. The clinicians, researchers, educators, and innovators that sit on the faculty development committee strive to facilitate finding and selecting a mentor, supporting a mentor-mentee relationship, and alternate means of mentorship for those who choose a different pathway.
One-on-One Mentoring
This program complements ongoing divisional efforts and assists the mentor/mentee matching process. If you are interested in one-on-one mentoring, please contact the faculty development committee.
Peer Mentoring
This program is an excellent addition to traditional mentoring and is highly beneficial to increasing mentoring satisfaction. Peer mentoring meetings will cover various topics and take place several times throughout the year.
