Emory Dermatology residents spend much of their time in the outpatient clinics of our affiliated hospitals. Additional rotations include adult and pediatric dermatology inpatient and consultation services, dermatopathology, procedural dermatology, and teledermatology.
Each clinical setting is unique and offers the trainee an extraordinarily rich and diverse training experience in Dermatology.
Emory University Hospital
Emory University Hospital is a 587-bed tertiary referral center for serious and complicated adult illnesses and is staffed exclusively by Emory University School of Medicine Faculty. The Emory Clinic is the outpatient faculty practice and is the largest, most comprehensive system for adult healthcare in Georgia with more than 1,280 specialists, 19 specialty centers, and 11 clinic locations throughout the state.
In addition to staffing adult inpatient consultations at Emory University Hospital, residents rotate through general dermatology and a variety of subspecialty clinics including pediatric dermatology, immunodermatology, hair loss, melanoma and pigmented lesions, allergic contact dermatitis and Mohs micrographic and dermatologic surgery.
