This one-year Dermatopathology Fellowship offered jointly by the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology, is directed by Douglas Parker, MD, DDS and meets all requirements for the board examination in dermatopathology jointly administered by the American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology.
Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship
The Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Emory University is a one-year training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
Under the direction of Travis W. Blalock, MD Fellowship Program Director, the curriculum emphasizes comprehensive clinical training in cutaneous surgery and oncology.
During training, there is an emphasis on Mohs Micrographic surgery and complex reconstruction with the opportunity to work with fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in a diverse setting. During the training program, fellows complete a minimum of 600 cases on a multitude of different skin cancer cases.
