Jessica Virgille serves as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Emory University School of Medicine. She earned her Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Florida. Jessica is a proud United States Army veteran and has worked in community care, managed healthcare initiatives and engages in motivational speaking.
Jessica manages the Emory Premedical Readiness Engagement Program (EmPREP), designed to increase traditionally underrepresented learners entering the health and medical professions. Additionally, she manages the Summer Science Academy, inspiring middle and high school students to pursue careers in healthcare and exposing them to concepts of science. Jessica is enthusiastic about her role in expanding the reach of this office through technology and social media to meet the demands of modern learners. Above all, Jessica is committed to increasing diversity and advocating for inclusion in medicine where learners thrive and take on the charge of making a profound impact.
