Anusha Krishnamoorthy is a graduate student working on AI-based image analysis in renal transplant histopathology. A current project involves applying deep learning and computational image analysis to whole slide images from kidney transplant biopsies to extract clinically meaningful histological biomarkers. This work aims to link quantitative tissue-level features to transplant outcomes and graft survival prediction. Future work aims to integrate multimodal data such as imaging, genomics, and clinical records to build more comprehensive predictive models.
Anusha earned a bachelor of technology degree in biomeedical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University. She currently is pursuing a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering in the Wallace Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering of Georgia Tech and Emory University.
