Sara Takagi is an undergraduate researcher in the B.I.G. Lab. Sara currently is working on developing neuroimaging techniques to neuro-sensitize fMRI signals in stroke patients undergoing sub-acute recovery.
She is pursuing a BS in biomedical engineering in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering of Georgia Tech and Emory, where she is learning to apply engineering principles to address unmet clinical needs.
Calling Columbus, Georgia her hometown, Sara also has lived in Japan and Dubai.
