Naomi Layne is a data analyst in the B.I.G. Lab. Having graduated from Emory University College of Arts and Sciences with a BS in neuroscience & behavioral biology and a BA in music composition, she brings both scientific rigor and creativity to her work.
She currently is responsible for managing and organizing data collection and entry for both the BReaTHE and ThalSeg studies. This includes preprocessing and analyzing neuroimaging and behavioral data and conducting statistical analyses. She additionally helps train interns on data organization and analysis work.
Naomi's professional interests focus on neuroplasticity and how the different neural networks are impacted by different exposures such as injury or general experiences.
