Eva Martinez Luque is a doctoral student in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering of Georgia Tech and Emory and a graduate researcher in the B.I.G. Lab. With a BS degree in biomedical engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain, Eva brings experience with preclinical research on traumatic brain injury and the inpact of chronic stress and diet on recovery.
Eva currently is involved with two of the lab's research studies: ELECTRIG and ComplexBOLD. As the primary student lead of the ComplexBOLD project, Eva is responsible for data collection, optimization, and analysis, as well as for mentoring undergraduate students involved in the project. She also conducts data analysis for ELECTRIG.
Her professional interests include neuroimaging at ultra high fields, especially functional MRS and functional MRI, and applications on healthy cognitive aging.
