Christian Lainez-Artiga is a research specialist with the B.I.G. Lab. He currently is pursuing a master's degree in biomedical engineering in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory. With an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Christian applies his knowledge of material science, biomechanics, robotics, and medical device development to his work as part of the AHA and BReaTHE studies.
More specifically, he helps communicate with study participants, delivers behavioral interventions to the participants as part of the study, and then documents results and observations.
His professional interests include patient rehabilitation, specifically neuroengineering and rehabilitative technologies.
