The Emory Addiction Center implements a multidisciplinary treatment approach to managing substance use in individuals ages 14 and older. The team consists of board-certified addiction psychiatrists/child psychiatrist, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors and psychologists. The center is also a training site for a wide spectrum of addiction providers and professionals.
Emory Adolescent and Young Adult Substance Use Services is a specialized subdivision of the Emory Addiction Center that provides care for adolescents and young adults ages 12-26. Outpatient care includes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and a community reinforcement approach to treating both substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health problems, including post-traumatic stress disorder.
Emory Autism Center empowers autistic children and adults, advances research and innovation and fosters inclusive, neurodivergent communities that prioritize autonomy and belonging across the lifespan. With 65 providers and staff members and nine programs for early childhood to late adulthood, the center provides mental health services, education and training in more than 130 counties across Georgia and surrounding states.
