Our diverse research portfolio focuses on understanding what shapes youth mental health and improving how we prevent, identify and treat mental health concerns across development. Faculty spans the neurodevelopmental impacts of prenatal substance exposure, design and testing of school-based anxiety and depression prevention programs, culturally responsive models of care for adolescents, improved prediction of youth at risk for suicide and adolescent transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) trials. Many of our clinical programs also collect outcomes data to evaluate effectiveness and continually strengthen the care we provide.
