Monica Khadka completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida Honors College, earning degrees in biology and economics, and her medical degree at University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to health equity and mentorship as co-founder and research director of the SNMA Health Disparities Research Group, where she supported peers in producing numerous scholarly projects and publications. Monica also serves as administrative chief of a student-run refugee clinic, where she has helped expand access to care, including the development of psychiatry specialty clinic nights. Her research has been recognized with multiple awards, including a Medical Student Research Award and Best Poster Presentation at a national forum.
