The RYSE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council is proud to introduce another exciting opportunity for engagement - a case competition centered on health equity.
In this case competition, we define a problem and you provide a solution! We are looking for innovative, feasible solutions that impact big problems in health care today.
The topic for this year's case competition is the prevention of social death in the hospital setting. To participate, gather a team of two to four people and sign up by April 23. The full prompt and judging criteria will be delivered to those who sign up at a designated date prior to Health Equity Day.
After receiving the prompt, participants will be asked to submit a five to seven minute presentation (can be recorded via Zoom) for your pitch by May 4, 2021. Finalists will be selected to compete for a Grand Prize on Health Equity Day. All presentations will also be showcased and made available for viewing on Health Equity Day.
We can't wait to hear your ideas and solutions! For questions or concerns, please contact Shub Agrawal.
