Research Coordinator, Genetic Counselor, Director of Huntington's Disease Center

Ms. Rosen graduated with a Master’s in Genetic Counseling from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2000 and became a board certified genetic counselor in 2002. Ms. Rosen has over 17 years of experience as a genetic counselor and a research coordinator, mostly in the field of Neurology. She has worked as the Program Manager for a large NIH U grant, supporting several international, multi-site clinical research projects, career development and pilot project programs, and annual educational meetings. She has also served as Committee Director for the Georgia Association of Genetic Counselors. She is currently the Clinical Director and genetic counselor for the Huntington Disease Society of America’s Center of Excellence for Huntington’s Disease at Emory University. She coordinates clinical research studies for Emory’s Department of Human Genetics and is faculty for the Genetic Counseling Training Program at Emory. For this program, she is a co-instructor for 4 courses, a clinical supervisor, a focus mentor, and she assists in the oversight of the Focus Internship program.
