Becoming an Amos Scholar means joining a community of physicians across the state of Georgia who have found satisfying and rewarding careers in primary care. As an Amos Scholar, you’ll receive invitations to social events, mentoring and other educational opportunities, and other resources.
Social Events
The 2021-2022 Amos Scholars had two social events during the summer of 2022. They went to Columbus GA to meet Kathelen and Dan Amos, go whitewater rafting and check out the Columbus Museum of Art.
A second gathering for Amos Scholars and their families was held at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to view the Origami in the Garden exhibit and enjoy the garden in full bloom.
Scholars and Amos Program staff had plenty of time to socialize during a delicious dinner at the Longleaf restaurant inside the Garden.
