Why Emory EM?
When I rotated here during my 4th year of medical school, I really felt like this program's mission matched the words and actions of all those I worked with. I was inspired by everyone's staunch commitment to serving, providing excellent care to, and advocating for this special patient population. I also chose Emory EM because it combined an excellent academic center with a county hospital, quaternary and community hospitals, dedicated pediatric hospitals, and an environment composed of individuals with an incredible array of backgrounds and experiences. I truly felt like training here would enable me to not only grow into a well-rounded, well-trained emergency medicine physician, but also that throughout my three years here I would have the privilege of learning from and serving this patient population.
Interest within EM?

5- year plan
At this point, a toxicology or medical education fellowship could possibly be in the future for me. Hopefully, I will be working in medical education at a county hospital and be heavily involved in community medical education (and hopefully will have adopted a dog)!
What would you be doing if you weren’t in Emergency Medicine?
Probably a violin teacher since I've played the violin since I was 4!
Fun Fact
I have been stung by a wasp on four continents.
What would your superpower be?
Teleportation for sure so I can go anywhere at anytime (and not have to deal with traffic/flight delays).
