Dear colleagues,

This Sunday, March 30, we celebrate National Doctors’ Day—an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary dedication of our faculty who provide patient care.

As I reflect on my first year at Emory, I remain deeply inspired by the compassion, expertise, and resilience you demonstrate every day. Even in times of uncertainty, one thing has not changed: our patients and communities need us now more than ever. Your unwavering commitment to excellence transforms lives.

Today, we take a moment to celebrate and honor your contributions. More than 350 faculty members were nominated by their peers for recognition this year, and the School of Medicine Recognitions Committee has selected those who best exemplify our shared values. I invite you to read about these honorees and the impact they have made.

Join us in celebrating the faculty members recognized here on social media or post a tribute to a physician colleague. We have created social media graphics for you to share the news. Be sure to tag Emory School of Medicine in your Doctors' Day posts and use the hashtag #EmoryDoctorsDay2025.

It is a privilege to work alongside such an exceptional team. Thank you for your dedication to our patients today and all year long.

With gratitude,
Sandra
