Research

My previous research involved the study of actin cytoskeletal dynamics. My current interests are in the development of therapeutic biomaterials that can be tracked and supported by the use of clinical imaging modalities. I am performing my graduate training with Dr. Nicholas Boulis in the Lab for Gene and Cell Therapy, and with Dr. John Oshinski in the Department of Radiology. My research has lead me toward translational work in advancing minimally invasive treatment paradigms for spinal cord pathologies, with a current focus on CNS neoplasms.
