I research the influence of reactive oxygen species (ROS) on transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) signaling from a systems biology standpoint using both molecular and computational tools. TGF-beta and ROS play pathological roles in fibrosis and carcinogenesis. Through better understanding of these signaling systems we can improve our approaches for development of anti-fibrotic and anti-cancer therapies.
