The Summer Science Academy Day Program is a two week science enrichment program that offers a series of lectures, labs, and field experiences for high school students. These "hands on" experiences are designed to heighten students' interest in science, increase awareness of careers in science and healthcare, and introduce and/or reinforce some principles of science. The Academy is divided into two groups: Academy I and Academy II. Students entering the 9th and 10th grades may participate in Academy I. Students entering the 11th and 12th grades may participate in Academy II. Topics covered in the program consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology
  • Human Anatomy
  • Neuroscience
  • Human Diseases
  • Genetics
