Definition of Rates
Base Rate: rate calculated, according to NIH regulations, that estimates as closely as possible the cost to provide the service.
Non-academic Rate: The base rate inflated by no more than the current NIH on campus F&A rate ( 55%) to be charged for work done for a for-profit organization that is not tied to a faculty member at an academic institution
Prices effective as of DECEMBER 1, 2012.
