The program emphasizes evidence-based primary care and preventive medicine, the provision of health care to the medically underserved and utilization of information technology to achieve these goals. The Emory University Physician Assistant program and the Rollins School of Public Health offer one of the few dual degree programs (MMSc/MPH) in the country ensuring the highest quality preparation in both disciplines. This three-year long (9 semesters) program enables physician assistants with an MPH to take a lead in improving the health of communities around the world and manage patients in clinics and hospitals.
The PA Program offers an annual live four day intense review course in Fall for our graduating class and welcomes participants who want a review or great CME in Atlanta. This course is available for computer home study as video and audio for tablets, smartphones or PCs.
