BR2017The Emory Physician Assistant Program has provided quality board review courses for twenty six years. Many PAs return annually because it is a great refresher course and 36 hours  high quality CME.  The 27th annual Certification / Recertification Review for Physician Assistants  is scheduled for October 2-5, 2017 at the James B Williams Medical Education Building on Emory University campus at 100 Woodruff Circle. Visitor parking nearest to the conference is available in the Lowergate and 1525 Clifton Parking decks for $12 per day.The review will take place on Monday - Thursday  from approximately 8:00 AM -5:30 PM each day. Lunches and  snacks will be provided every day. The conference is limited to 260 participants.

Nearby hotels with in walking distance are The Emory Conference Center Hotel at 1615 Clifton Road and The University Inn at 1767
North Decatur Road. Other hotels on the free Emory Cliff Bus line within 3 miles are the Holiday Inn Express at 2183 North Decatur Road and
the Decatur Courtyard by Marriott at 130 Clairemont Ave. Decatur, Georgia. We have not reviewed these hotels or negotiated special pricing.

CME Approval - 38 hours Cat 1 AAPA

AAPAcmeThis program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 38.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits by the AAPA Review Panel. PAs should claim only those credits actually spent participating in the CME activity.

This program was planned in accordance with AAPA CME Standards for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.

Tuition is $650 prior to 9/1/2017, $675 after 9/1/2017, and $700 on-site (Pre-registration closes on 9/26/17; on-site registration is limited and payment on-site is by cash or certified check only).

The Review Conference consists of lectures to refresh the learner’s knowledge on a wide range of core medical problems and content including reviews of Dermatology, Renal, GI, GU, Psychiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Neurological, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, Hematology, OB-GYN, and other topics. To benefit from this conference participants should have a broad base of primary care knowledge to assist them in passing the national board examinations.

This conference includes 10 hours of pharmacology instruction. The Review Conference is based on the NCCPA content as well as organ system blueprint for the PANCE/PANRE and the matrix of question distribution. Obviously, the exact content of the PANCE and PANRE exams is confidential and not known to the developers of the Review Conference, and no suggestion is made that the Review Conference or practice exam questions represent the level of complexity or distribution of topics on the actual examinations.
