Supplemental Application

 

Your application is not complete, and will not be considered, until we receive a completed electronic supplemental application and payment from you. You download  the supplemental application from the Emory PA site and upload the completed form on  CASPA. You pay the fee using the link below. You can complete the supplemental application using Microsoft Word or other document editor that can edit docx files.  Please note that you will need your CASPA ID number. Please read these instructions carefully.

DEADLINE for submission for MMSc/MPH and Early Consideration - July 1, 2017 Midnight EST

DEADLINE for submission for MMSc - October 1, 2017 Midnight EST

1. Download the Emory PA Supplemental Application as a Word document - Click here

2. To pay the Supplemental application fee of $75 Non Refundable- Click here 

3. Upon completion of the supplemental application, please upload your document to your CASPA application under “Document Section”.  Once your CASPA application is submitted, you may not modify or resubmit your application.

Instructions for the Supplemental Application

Most items on the Supplemental application are self-explanatory; however, the following may require further clarification:

Sections I - III

Some items are requested by the Admissions Office for statistical purposes.

Section IV – Military Service

If you have been in military service, send a copy (not the original) of your separation papers to Emory PA Program, ATTN: Admissions Office, 1462 Clifton Road, Suite 280, Atlanta, GA 30322.

Reapplicants: Do not resubmit.

Section V - Narrative Statement

Please write a concise narrative stating your reason(s) for wanting to attend the Emory PA Program. This is your opportunity to tell the Admissions committee why you deserve serious consideration for a place in the next class. This should NOT be a duplication of your CASPA narrative. Do not cut and paste your CASPA narrative. Specifically, tell us:

* How have your activities and life choices prepared you to become an Emory PA?

* What do you bring to the Emory PA Program that will help the Program meet its mission?

* What does the Emory PA Program offer you?

Reapplicants:

Please give special attention to this portion or your reapplication. In place of the questions answered in your previous application(s), provide a concise narrative responding to the following:

* Please share with us your plans and accomplishments since you last application(s) that have made you a more competitive applicant.

 

For Dual-Degree (PA/MPH) Candidates

Candidates for the PA/MPH dual-degree must be accepted by both the Emory University Physician Assistant Program and the Rollins School of Public Health in the same Admissions year.

Please contact the Director of Admissions if you are considering this option at pa_admissions@emory.edu. For more information about this option click here. Your narrative statement should address the following:

* Your personal interest and experience in public health;

* Which area of public health is of most interest;

* Your plans on how you will utilize a degree in public health as a physician assistant.
