Clinical Background

I provide clinical primary care services to patients through Emory Family Medicine at Dunwoody, and supervise primary care residents and students in this setting.

Licensure and Certifications

Licensed physician in state of Georgia.

Board certification in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine.

Research Interests

Dr. Dunlop as experience designing and conducting: (1) health services and clinical research in public and private clinic settings; (2) epidemiologic analyses of large data sets containing state and perinatal regional data to better understand reproductive health outcomes in the state of Georgia and variability in outcomes by race/ethnicity; (3) health policy research to better understand the impact of health policies on maternal-child health care utilization and outcomes.  Dr. Dunlop also led the Georgia team that developed the Georgia Every Woman, Every Time Preconception Toolkit and serves as a member of the CDC Clinical Work Group of the Select Panel on Preconception Care, the HRSA National Maternal Health Initiative Women’s Health Work Group, and the HRSA-CMS Collaborative Initiative on Reducing Infant Mortality in the Southeast.

Personal Interests

Enjoys camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening, bee- and chicken-keeping.
