Our residents build a broad clinical experience through rotations at Emory's four major teaching hospitals and a large network of specialty clinics, research centers, and other patient care settings affiliated with the Emory health system.

ACGME Parker J. Palmer “Courage to Teach” Award for Program Director Excellence

Professor Sachin Kedar is the 2022 recipient of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Parker J. Palmer “Courage to Teach” Award for program director excellence. The award recognizes program directors who have fostered innovation and improvement in their residency/fellowship programs and served as exemplary role models for residents and fellows. Dr. Kedar (ophthalmology) was nominated while working at University of Nebraska Medical Center; he joined Emory in July.

Residency Tracks

To complement your residency program, you can opt in to one of our five residency tracks to improve your skills and knowledge in a health-related focus area. Residents who complete one of these tracks will receive a certificate of distinction.
