Clinical Skills Program
Gina Shannon currently serves as a Assistant Director for the Clinical Skills Center. She manages various events, conducts feedback trainings, leads auditions, and oversees the Clinical Skills’ Standardized Patient community. She came to the Clinical Skills Center from Washington University, School of Medicine, Saint Louis, where she originally started her work as a Standardized Patient and assisted in communication review sessions. Along with her work as a Standardized Patient, she taught theatre and dance for seven years. She holds a BA in Theatre with an emphasis on acting, directing, and technical theater, along with a MAT in Theatre education from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. In her spare time, she explores the great food of Atlanta and recreating those delicious meals using local ingredients with her partner. They also enjoy hiking with their curious dog, Dessie.
