Program Description

Academy I (lower Academy) is a two week session for 9th and 10th grade students. Students must have completed the 8th grade before the first day of their session. This program offers a series of lectures, lab, and field experiences for students. The experiences are designed to heighten students’ interest in science, make them aware of careers requiring a scientific background, and to introduce and/or reinforce principles of science.

The hours of operation for Academy I are 8:30am- 3:30pm.

Early drop off and late pickup options are provided on an as needed basis for an additional fee of $6 per hour.

• Early drop off begins at 7:30 am
• Students must be picked up by 5:00pm
